About stem cells

What are stem cells?

Stem cells are undifferentiated cells that divide themselves into functional cells.  This means that they have not yet changed into a cell with a specific function.  They can become any cell in the body, depending on the needs that exist, including skin and collagen cells.

Did you know that...?

Epidermal stem cells are responsible for the daily repair of the different layers of the epidermis.   The epidermis is made up of around 7% stem cells and these are found in the basal cell layer.

Only botanical stem cells are used in cosmetics, for example stem cells from apples, oranges, lilacs, pufferflower...

Unique power of stem cells in cosmetics:

- Botanical stem cells offer unparalleled protective properties for the skin and are rich in antioxidants.

- Grown under controlled osmotic conditions, they are enriched with unique nutrients such as flavonoids and phenylpropanoids.

- They increase the healing capacity and prevent oxidative stress on the skin.

- They prolong the skin's youthful appearance, thus delaying the ageing process and the formation of wrinkles.

In summary, botanical stem cells are a powerful weapon in the fight against anti-aging.
